Life under the bridge hasn’t been as lively over the past couple of months as the Riverside Arts Market took their annual break from the festivities of RAM and left us with the weekly skeleton of a show that is winter RAM. While there have been a few fun events this winter, they haven’t compared to the hustle and bustle that is the Riverside Arts Market.
In case you haven’t been before, the Riverside Arts Market is a lot of fun. It is a place where local artists, farmers and community members gather together to enjoy the beautiful Jacksonville weather. Located just on the St. Johns River, there is almost always a cool breeze to help you escape from the often hot Florida sunshine.
Week in and week out, the Riverside Arts Market features things like:
- Locally grown produce by friendly farmers
- Local arts and crafts
- Local honey
- Local meat and seafood
- Community volunteers and non-profits
- Great musical talent
- Lots of food trucks and stands
The Riverside Arts Market is entering its 6th season this year. At this point, they are an established aspect of our community. Every Saturday from 10 am to 4pm you can head out to the Fuller Warren Bridge and participate in the festivities.
As of March 1st, the Riverside Arts Market is back up and running! So, take a weekly trip down to the market and say hello while you are there. If you want to know more about what is going on at RAM, you can always stay up to date by checking out their website here. We’ll see you under the bridge!
